The inaugural 'Rock n Roll' Half Marathon is kicking off in the capital around now.
There'll are 12 live bands playing all along the course, one at every mile of the race and there's a free gig at the race end.
The Headline act will be Delorentos, playing after lunch on the main stage in Stephen's Green.
Model and former Miss Universe Roz Purcell and former Dublin Gaelic Football player Ciaran Whelan are also taking part
The 21km marathon is all in aid of the Serious Fun Children's Network.
Stephens Green South is closed and Gardai will also be implementing rolling road closures throughout the afternoon on the race route- check the AA Roadwatch "events" page for details.
