Parking charges in Dublin are increasing.
Fees across the city are going up by an average of ten per cent, while a 10 cent reduction is available to drivers using a parking tag.
Yellow zone parking, which is in the heart of the city centre and at the highest rate, will move from 3-euro 20 per hour to 3-euro-50.
The changes come in to force from February 1st.
Dublin City Council says the aim of the increase is to deter people from long-term parking in the city, and to encourage alternative transport methods other than a car.
