Bon Jovi are far from Living On A Prayer after coming out on top of a list of the highest grossing tours of 2013.
The ‘Because We Can’ tour, which included a date at Slane Castle in the summer, netted the New Jersey rockers €190 million, beating the likes of Beyonce and Justin Bieber to the top spot.
Bruce Springsteen came in at no.5 in the list, with his Wrecking Ball tour with the E Street Band bringing in €107 million.
Just outside the top 10 is Paul McCartney who earned €83.5 million on the road last year, while The Rolling Stones’ 50 and Counting Tour brought in €81 million.
Fleetwood Mac’s two dates at The O2 in September 2013 helped them earn €69 million, putting them at no.14 on the list, while solo rockers Roger Waters (no. 16) and Elton John (no.19) brought in €60 million and €48.5 million respectively.
