You will never guess what a Nova listener found for us this week!
All week we’ve been reflecting on David Bowie, as we find it difficult to believe it has been two years since his passing.
We’ve been playing all the classic Bowie tracks this week, while recalling some of the great stories and you can just imagine Pat Courtenay’s delight when a listener sent him a link to a Bowie performance of Pink Floyd’s ‘Comfortably Numb‘.
The Nova Drive (3-7pm) presenter was thrilled with the discovery from Remember That Night, a live concert recording of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour’s solo concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2006.
Bowie features on vocals for the collaboration and we just had to share the clip with you as Pat did promise Bowie fans it would make the web as well as the waves!
Indulge yourself – this will put hairs on the back of your neck and may even bring a tear to the most cynical pair of eyes.
