Calls for a change in the courts system regarding rape cases is just one of the aims of marches taking place around the country this afternoon.
The rallies have been set up off the back of a number of protests nationwide on Thursday.
Almost 15 hundred people have said they'll be attending today's march in Dublin on an event page on Facebook. Gatherings look set to take place in Belfast, Cork, Galway and Limerick as well as Dublin
One of the organisers of today's rally in the capital, TD Ruth Coppinger, said she wants to have thousands to line the streets. She tweeted yesterday listing a number of issues which will be highlighted in today's rally, one of which is to 'educate society about consent'
The Solidarity TD is also calling for an end to 'misogyny, sexism and objectification of women'.The rally is just getting underway outside City Hall and will make it's way to the Department of Justice.
