A 17 year old girl has been seriously injured after a suspected hit and run in County
Wicklow this morning. The accident happened on Main Street, Kilcoole which
happened just before 4am, the road was closed for a time for an examination but has
since reopened.
The teenager has been taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment and is in a critical
condition. As well as carrying out a forensic examination, Gardai are viewing CCTV
from the area, they are also appealing to anyone who may have been in the area prior
to 4am to call Bray or Greystones
