Announcing the launch of a new skateboard would imply that merchant of doom, Nick Cave, had released one previously to an unsuspecting public.
And he did, in 2015! Nick Cave teamed up with Fast Time, the Australian skate company, to make an official Nick Cave skateboard, with an illustration from San Franciscan artist Chuck Sperry.
Now, the same trio of collaborators have teamed up yet again for another board. This one’s inspired by ‘Heathen Child,’ a song from Cave’s more aggressive side project Grinderman. You can check out what the new board looks like below.
A banner on the top of the board features some lyrics from that track: ‘Hey little Moo Moo, light as a rainbow.’ The board comes in street and cruiser deck styles. There’s also a t-shirt you can buy in conjunction with it. All items are available to order here.
