Bayonets is a solo project created by Kerry musician and songwriter Vinne Flynn, who's music style encompasses a mix of alternative rock, indie, blues and folk.

In addition to writing and performing live, Vinnie also works with several publishing companies based in the US who pitch his compositions to prime time TV shows and movies. Flynn's body of work conjures haunting intrigue with each melody luring the listener into a dark and beguiling tale. Bayonet’s sound is undeniably his own.

His debut single 'Slow Burning Fire' was premiered in June 2017 by Hot Press Magazine and has received wide media acclaim since. However, his second single release alongside a captivating video has landed and it's bound to have you hooked.

Titled ‘This Old Coast’, it's definitely one to watch for 2018 – a breath of fresh, mysterious originality that you'll be adding to your playlist.

The spectral imagery complement the atmospheric feel that Bayonet’s unique compositions create and leaves the viewer thirsty for the story to continue.
This Old Coast was directed by Trevor Murphy (Ten Thousand Hour Films) and art work was provided by Elouise Flannery.
You can catch Vinnie playing at the K-Fest in Killorglin County Kerry on June 3rd.

When I'm not at my desk you'll find me hiding behind a lens, a book or attending GAA games across the country. If not, I'll be busy complaining about the weather!

Also – I’m a festival lover, so when the summers out I spend most of my time nestled in the sweaty trench of any concert hall that will let me in the doors...

Standard and basic – enjoy :)
