Noel Gallagher has stated that he would reunite his old band Oasis as a means to stop Labour's Jeremy Corbyn from becoming Prime Minister.

The singer has never kept his dislike for the Labour Party leader a secret. Now, he’s claimed that he’d rather bury the hatchet with his wayward brother Liam and reform the Britpop legends than see Corbyn attain power.

In an interview with TalkSport, The High Flying Birds frotnman said he’d rather reform Oasis than see Corbyn elected as prime minister. Gallagher said, “I’d have to get the band back together, I think. I don’t want that lunatic running the country.”

According to the NME, this comes after Gallagher famously said “Fuck Jeremy Corby – he’s a Communist“ in the past and added that he could never vote for the Conservative party “because some invisible force field would stop me from putting my vote in the ballot box”.
