Singer Kate Bush has had the contribution of Rolf Harris removed from the new remaster of her 2005 ‘Aerial’ album. Harris was convicted of sexual assault in 2014, at the age of 84.
Harris performed a spoken word track on the song ‘An Architect’s Dream’ and on ‘A Painters Link’. Kate’s son Albert ‘Bertie’ McIntosh, who contributed the part on the ‘Before The Dawn’ concert, has now replaced Harris and has been accredited on the new edition.
This wasn’t the first time Bush had worked with Harris. The first time was on 1982’s ‘The Dreaming’. The Australian painter played didgeridoo on the title track and that appears to have been left in place for the reissues.
The entire Kate Bush catalogue is set to be reissued this month on vinyl and CD.
