It’s been reported that UK Police have begun an investigation following an unlawful break in at Sir Paul McCartney’s London home.

The Beatle’s London address was broken into at roughly 6.20 pm on Friday December 7. Speaking on behalf of Scotland Yard an officer admitted that they were called to the property and found signs of a forced entry.

No arrests were made and the police investigation is ongoing. It remains unknown if McCartney or his wife Nancy Shevell were in the house at the time. The break in happened just a day after he performed the second of two concerts in Vienna on the ‘Freshen Up’ tour. Macca also performed a homecoming show at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Wednesday, and is set for London’s O2 Arena for a huge end-of-year bash on Sunday evening.
