A gang of roughly 50 youths in west Dublin started an unprovoked attack on a group of people waiting for a bus into town for the New Year’s celebrations.
The attack happened at Foxborough as a group of approximately ten people were approached at the stop by the gang.
The assailants were as young as 14 and holding knives, when they became aggressive towards the bystanders. A Dublin Bus driver arrived and let the innocent revelers on board.
In a video shared online, people can be seen waiting on the bus to move before one of the gang members smashes a window.
It was reported there were no serious injuries but some of the men were left with cuts and bruises on their faces.
