It’s been two decades since Aer Lingus had a makeover. The airline has unveiled a new ‘brand identity’ as well as uniforms designed by Louise Kennedy. Aer Lingus aircraft are now white with a teal coloured tail, engines and undercarriage.

Thankfully, the shamrock has been kept but has been “restyled” with a change to it’s angle to represent “dynamism and speed” and leaves in the shape of a heart to reflect hospitality and warmth.

According to the Independent, the makeover was conceived with the help of US design and brand company Lippincott. The new look wishes to embody the airline’s ambition to become “the leading value carrier across the North Atlantic”.
