Keith Richards has shared a lyric video for his cover of Jimmy Reed’s “My Babe”, a previously-unreleased track set to appear on the forthcoming expanded 30th anniversary reissue of his 1988 solo debut, “Talk Is Cheap.”

The Rolling Stone recorded the music with his band The X-Pensive Winos. Richards discussed his thoughts on the anniversary release,

“This album holds up. I’ve been listening to it, and not through the mists of nostalgia either, because it doesn’t affect me that way. This is more than the sum of its parts. I really admire it. We were having fun and you can hear it.”

The 30th Anniversary Reissue of “Talk Is Cheap” will be released via multiple formats, including Super Deluxe and Deluxe box sets, CD, LP, and digital.

Talk Is Cheap was originally released in 1988 at a time when the Stones were on hold and Keith & Mick Jagger weren’t getting on and only made it to Number 24 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The album will be reissued as a huge box set that includes the album on CD and vinyl, six unreleased tracks from the sessions and an 80-page book featuring a new interview with Richards. There an even more extravagant “super deluxe” box set that comes in a case that replaces Richards’ guitar case made by the Fender Custom Shop.
