A woman has died in a house fire in County Meath.
The blaze broke out at a property on Castlemartin Avenue in Bettystown at around 9.40 this morning.
The woman – who was in her 40s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her remains have been removed to the mortuary at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan where a post mortem will take place.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
