A pilot is stuck on a high-voltage electricity line in France after a Belgian fighter jet crashed. French authorities say the F-16 jet crashed in Brittany.
One pilot was rescued and emergency services are extracting the other pilot from the electricity line. The immediate area has also been evacutated.
According to Le Telegramme, the F-16 hit the roof of a nearby dwelling before crashing in a field.
Update:
Emergency workers cut power off in the local area to get him down.
He’s been taken to hospital for medical checks.
However, no injuries are reported on the ground. One pilot has already been safely rescued by services.
