Gardai are continuing to appeal for information after a teenager was stabbed close to a north Dublin beach.
A 15-year-old boy incurred stab injuries after a row near Portmarnock Beach on Friday, 24th of January.
According to Dublin Live, two groups of youths were involved in the incident which took place at 9.30 pm.
The teen was taken to Malahide Garda Station where he was treated by the Garda ASU members.
He was then taken by ambulance to Temple Street Children’s Hospital and his condition was reported to be stable. According to Malahide Garda Station Superintendent Gerry Donnelly they are,
“Anxious to hear from any witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of the entrance to Portmarnock Beach, Velvet Strand, Coast Road and Wendell Avenue”
“That was between 9pm and 10pm or to anyone with camera footage that could assist the investigation.
“Gardaí are also appealing to any persons who may have been using public transport in that vicinity and came across large groups of youths availing of transport services.”
