100 Days Until Euro 2020 Kick Off. (Probably!)

There’s 100 days to go until the biggest sporting event ever to come to Ireland, kicks off in Dublin.

The organisers of Euro 2020 say as things stands the football tournament will go ahead this summer, even as the threat of coronavirus continues to spread.

Organisers say that they are liasing with authrorities over the virus and the risk to the public.

The countdown clock to euro 2020, a laser projection onto from Dublin’s city hall, now reads 100 days as final preparations are made for the tournament.

Up to 160,000 overseas visitors are expected as the Aviva Stadium plays host to four games, starting on June 15th, with the rest played on the 19th, 24th and 30th.

An official Fan Zone and Football Village will be created at Dublin Castle and Merrion Square Park, as tens of thousands of football fans descend on the city.

Matches at the ”Dublin Arena” as it will be known during the championships.

Friday, 19 June – Group E: Sweden v Play-off winner B (14:00, local time)
Wednesday, 24 June – Group E: Sweden v Poland (17:00, local time)
Tuesday, 30 June – R16: 1D v 2F (17:00, local time)
