Foo Fighters fans were feeling all the feels last night after BBC Radio 1’s 'Stay At Home' Live Lounge premiered a cover of the band’s hit single ‘Times Like These’ featuring a host of famous names.
The artists made it BBC Radio 1’s biggest ever Live Lounge to raise money for the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Coldplay's Chris Martin, Dua Lipa, Biffy Clyro and Dermot Kennedy were among the famous faces taking part.
Speaking to Zoe Ball after the video aired, Dave Grohl said;
"I got the call a few weeks ago that the BBC wanted to put together the project and initially I was so flattered that they would use one of our songs, but also to have so many incredible artists singing on it," he explained.
"I got really emotional, for this to be used for something so meaningful. It’s one of the hugest moments in my musical life."
"It’s a funny feeling for me because it’s a song I wrote at a strange time in my life where I was scared but hopeful and I think it applies to today".
Dua Lipa and Dave Grohl kicked off the new version along other stars including Chris Martin, Biffy Clyro, Ellie Goulding, Dermot Kennedy Sam Fender, Royal Blood and many more.
