A man in his 40s has been arrested in relation to the shocking murder and dismemberment of Drogheda teenager Keane Mulready-Woods. The 17-year-old was last seen alive on January 12th this year. The day after he was last seen, human body parts were found in a sports bag in Coolock, Dublin.
A human head, feet and hands were found in a burning car in Drumcondra, Dublin. All of the human remains were found to be those of Keane Mulready-Woods. In October, a man i his 50s was sent for trial for impeding the investigation into the murder.
The man arrested in connection with the murder is being held under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Drogheda Garda station. He can be held for questioning for up to 7 days before being released or charged.
This is the third arrest made in relation to the murder of the teenager, which is thought to be connected to criminal activity and a gang feud that has been ongoing in the Drogheda area. A 39-year-old man was arrested and questioned back in February but he was released without charge.
