As discussed with PJ Gallagher and Jim McCabe on Morning Glory, Lidl Ireland has launched a competition to win a ‘Night at Lidl’ – the staycation shoppers certainly weren’t expecting this summer!
With intercounty travel restrictions set to lift in the coming weeks, the retailer is calling on its biggest fans to enter a competition that will help them gain entry to one of Lidl’s stores after dark, an all-access VIP pass to Ireland’s most-loved discount retailer.
A press release says, “With stunning views of the fresh fruit & veg aisle and just a short walk away from the cereals & biscuits aisle, Lidl’s custom built 5-Star hotel experience lies smack dab in the heart of a Lidl superstore, and is tailored to create an unforgettable night.”
As part of the overnighter prize the winner and one friend will have their own private BBQ chef on hand and an in-house wine expert. They will also get a full beauty treatment in the cosmetics aisle and a movie night on a big screen with snacks and goodies.
Commenting on the prize of a lifetime, Anita Break, Lidl’s newly appointed Chief Staycations Officer, said: “What better way to relax and unwind then in your local Lidl aisle, sampling our delicious summer range and sipping on our refreshing, award-winning wines.
