Slash, Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators have shared a cover of the classic Elton John track “Rocket Man”.
The band performed this cover during their recent River Is Rising live tour. The performance saw Slash rip through several guitar solos and lead guitar melodies.

The band had first shared their single River Is Rising last october.
Other tracks also included “Fill My World” and “Call Off The Dogs”. These songs feature on their new album 4, which arrives tomorrow (February 11).
Myles Kennedy had this to say on the album itself.
“This is pretty much a live record, from my stand point”, he stated. You’re just trying to kind of document where you are at that point in life, and do it in an authentic way”.
“It’s an honour to be the first release on the new Gibson Records”, Slash added.
Slash On “Stuntman”
Back to last night, and before they performed this special Elton cover, Slash himself addressed audience members, revealing that they had recorded a cover for Stuntman.
Stuntman is a documentary exploring Eddie Braun’s attempt to recreate Evel Knieval’s Snake River Canyon jump.
“We’re gonna do this song, it’s gonna be the first time we’ve ever played it live. We played it for a movie some years ago. The movie came out during COVID. It was a movie called Stuntman”, Slash told the audience.
“We did this version of the song for this movie for this friend of mine who jumped over Snake River Canyon. We’re going to play it live tonight since we’ve been dying to play it. It’s very different for us, too”.
As expected the band also performed several tracks from their upcoming album, along with several fan favourites from previous Slash and Kennedy albums. They also covered Lenny Kravitz’s 1991 track “Always On The Run” which was written by Slash.
