The Criminal Assets Bureau has been given more time to track down a precise address for Daniel Kinahan as part of its attempt to seize a luxury mansion in Dublin.

It believes the five-bedroom property came into the hands of the Kinahan cartel as part of a multi-million-euro debt owed by property developer, Jim Mansfield Junior.

No. 10 Coldwater Lakes, in Saggart, Co Dublin has been identified by CAB as being in the hands of the Kinahan cartel and both Daniel Kinahan and Thomas ‘Bomber’ Kavanagh are being pursued for it.

At a previous court hearing, Daniel Kinahan was described as a leader of the cartel, while Kavanagh, who’s serving a 21-year sentence for drug trafficking, ran its UK operations.

Today, the court heard Kavanagh was put on notice of these proceedings through the cell door of the high security prison in England where he’s serving his sentence.

He was given the opportunity to attend remotely but he didn’t dial in, and wasn’t represented, when the case was called.

CAB is still trying to find out where Daniel Kinahan is so the case was adjourned until next month.
