Morrissey’s show at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on July 9 was the same date that the singer had initially planned to perform at London’s Crystal Palace Park.
However, that show was cancelled, with an organiser releasing this statement.
“Unfortunately, Festival Republic can confirm that the show with Morrissey on July 9 at Crystal Palace Park will not be going ahead. This is due to unforeseen circumstances. Fans can check Morrissey’s official pages for updates on his live shows this summer”, they said.
Morrissey To Release New Album
Despite confirmation of this tour, fans are still awaiting the arrival of Morrissey’s new album ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’.
Having previously revealed that the album would arrive via Capitol Records this year, Morrissey has now reportedly distanced himself from the label, claiming that they were trying to “sabotage” him.
The former Smiths singer also called this album “the best album of my life”.
‘Bonfire of Teenagers’ is to also feature contributions from Miley Cyrus, Iggy Pop, and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Josh Klingoffer.
Last month, Morrissey also revealed that he has recorded another album, titled ‘Without Music The World Dies’. No release date has been confirmed.
