A well-known Irish entertainer, accused of the defilement of a child, will face trial later this year.
It’s after an application to have the case against him thrown out was refused before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court this morning.
The man, who is in his 40s, faces three counts of the defilement of a child under the age of 17 in Dublin on dates in 2010 and 2011.
He was remanded on continuing bail until October, which is when his trial is due to get underway.
