The will of the late Fleetwood Mac singer Christine McVie left a huge fortune of £70 million, it has been revealed.
McVie joined the band in 1970, having married bassist John McVie two years earlier. She left Fleetwood Mac in 1998, before returning for their 2014 Reunion Tour.
The singer was renowned for writing classic Mac tracks ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Songbird’, and ‘Little Lies’, among others.

Christine McVie passed away aged 79 last year, with a cause of death confirmed back in April.
According to medical reports, the singer died from a ischemic stroke, which the Mayo Clinic saying “occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is interrupted or reduced, preventing brain tissue from getting oxygen and nutrients”.
McVie had suffered with “metastatic malignancy of unknown primary origin”, meaning cancer cells had been discovered in her body.
Paying tribute to Christine McVie, her former bandmate Stevie Nicks wrote this moving message.
“A few hours ago I was told that my best friend in the whole world since the first day of 1975, had passed away. I didn’t even know she was ill…until late Saturday night. I wanted to be in London; I wanted to get to London – but we were told to wait”.
Last week, a previously unreleased track from Christine McVie was released for the first time. The track is called, ‘Little Darlin’, and was released by the singer’s record lable Rhino, celebrating what would have been her 80th birthday.
