Due to exceptional demand, Coldplay have added extra dates for Croke Park.
The band will now perform at the venue on September 1 and 2, to go with their shows on August 29 and 30.
Coldplay confirmed this news via their social media channels.
“Due to huge demand in the presale, a third Dublin show has been added for September 1, 2024”, they wrote. “Presale tickets are on sale now”.

These Croke Park shows take place as part of the band’s ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour.
This tour will also see them perform Athens, Bucharest, Budapest, Lyon, next June, along with Rome, Dusseldorf, and Helsinki in July, along with August concerts in Vienna, Munich and of course Dublin.

“can’t even get in the queue”
However, after pre sale tickets for these shows went up on sale this morning, fans quickly vented their anger at being unable to get into the online queue to access tickets.
#Coldplaydublin so you're telling me there is a chance…🤔😆 pic.twitter.com/Srzhb79dlq

A spokesperson for Ticketmaster released this statement.
“Everything is in working order, and tickets are selling as normal”, they said. “As per our advice on social media, fans should clear their cache/cookies and ensure they aren’t using any VPN software on their device/WiFi”.
“Alternatively, they can use a different browser/device or use mobile data instead of WiFi”.
This saga becomes the latest in a long line of fiascos faced by Ticketmaster when it comes to tour tickets.
The Cure frontman Robert Smith also recently described their ticket policy as a “bit of a scam”.
Along with Coldplay, music fans also experienced difficulty trying to buy tickets for Taylor Swift’s shows at the Aviva Stadium, with many people also struggling to access the online queue.
