RTÉ's Director General says it's "fully cooperating" with the Oireachtas Public Accounts and Media Committees.
It was reported this morning that RTÉ has been refusing to give over the documents related to its former Director General Dee Forbes to the committees.
The national broadcaster was also accused of declining to provide information on former Commercial Director Geraldine O'Leary, and former Chief financial Officer Breda O'Keefe.
But by lunchtime, RTÉ's new DG, Kevin Bakhurst released a statement saying its not "refusing" to provide documents to the committees.
He says "where documents have not been provided, this is because of legal and contractual obligations which preclude RTÉ from providing personal information".
He adds RTÉ is fully cooperating with both the Public Accounts and Media Committees, and is being as "thorough and transparent" as it possibly can.
Mr. Bakhurst also says there was no exit payment made to former DG Dee Forbes on her resignation, or to Geraldine O'Leary, who left seven weeks early to take retirement.
