Everlasting rap legend Snoop Dogg was bestowed with metaphorical garlands as he and his posse took in The Black Forge Inn in Crumlin, the hostelry owned by mixed martial artist Conor McGregor.
D-O-Double G is in Dublin to perform at the RDS on Monday evening he received a big welcome as evidenced by his Instagram video (below) shared to his 81.4m followers.
He was feted, wined and dined and fed chips and a flambéed steak – known as the Forged Steak on Stone – a 10 ounce rump costs €36, according to the menu.
McGregor shared several photos including those where he is posing with his title belt, and also some snaps of the rapper meeting his mother, Margaret McGregor.
Snoop Dogg also took in the the Guinness Storehouse at St. James’ Gate while he prepared for his Dublin show.
The veteran LA rapper, himself is no stranger to the drinks industry as he is affiliated with 19 Crimes, the mass-market wine from Australian wine giant Treasury Wine Estates.
His Cali series features several wines now, including white, red, rosé and sparkling.
