Radio Nova was among the big winners at the 2023 IMRO Radio Awards.
Nova Guestlist host Kieran McGuinness was named Best Specialist Music Broadcaster in the country while PJ Gallagher and Jim McCabe scored Silver for Radio Moment of the Year.
Kieran said of his win, “Thank you so much to IMRO for this it’s a big honour for the show and for myself. A huge amount of work is put into the guestlist every week. Thank you so much to everyone at Radio Nova, all the management and staff especially Kevin, Clint, Elaine and Fiona and everyone involved behind the scenes. Thanks to Danu and Dave for their voices every week, the listeners of course and finally I am so lucky that so many Irish acts trust me with their interviews and songs and stories so that I can entertain and share from the perspective of a fan of music to other fans of music.“
The finest talents in Irish radio from across the island to the gala event gathered at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny for this year’s event, hosted by comedian and broadcaster Oliver Callan.
