Kid Rock has decided to end his boycott of Bud Light, he told American conservative broadcaster Tucker Carlson in a recent interview.
Rock, real name Robert James Ritchie, began a vocal boycott of the beer product and its parent company Anheuser-Busch back in April.
It came in response to the company sending Dylan Mulvaney, a social media influencer who happens to be a trans-person, a once-off promotional beer can that was personalised with her face.
The unique can was not for sale to the public.

Rock, who claims to rally against so-called “cancel culture” and left-wing “snowflakes,” a derogatory term for people deemed to be too easily offended, made it a personal crusade to cancel the beer brand after he was offended by their promotion.
However, the singer has now told former Fox News host Carlson that: “At the end of the day, when you step back and look at it, like, yeah, they deserved a black eye and they got one. They made a mistake.”
“So, do I want to hold their head under water and drown them because they made a mistake? No, I think they got the message,” he continued.
The “mistake” he refers to was the single promotional beer can and the company’s apparent acceptance of a transgender person.
In July, the bar owned by Rock in Nashville was still selling Bud Light, despite his vocal protestations against supporting the product.
Later, in August, the indignant consumer and musician was photographed happily drinking Bud Light while attending a concert in Nashville.
