Last month, at a recent show at Madison Square Garden, Billy Joel was joined on stage by Elvis Costello.
This show saw the pair share a live cover of Costello’s 1978 hit, ‘Pump It Up’, with Joel playing piano, and Costello on vocals.
The pair followed this up with a live duet of Joel’s 1982 hit, ‘Allentown’. More on that here.
While it appears to be a busy year in store for Billy Joel, former Police singer Sting announced a show in Cork for next Summer.
Sting will take to the stage at Cork's Musgrave Park as part of his 'My Songs' tour on 18 June this year.
The show will also see Sting joined on stage by Blondie as his support act. This tour also supports the singer's 2019 album of the same name, his second album to also feature new versions of previously release material.
