Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has been cleared of inappropriate behaviour, after allegations were made against him by a female colleague.

Horner now will remain in his role, after the allegations made against him were dismissed, which had placed him under investigation.

The team principal had always denied these allegations, and was present at the reigning constructor’s champions 2024 car launch, and pre season testing in Bahrain last week.

This saga had dominated the agenda ahead of this weekend’s opening 2024 race in Bahrain, with several of Horner’s Formula 1 counterparts calling for a swift resolution.

Statement Released

Confirming that the investigation has reached its conclusion, Red Bull’s Austrian parent company Red Bull GmbH released this statement.

“The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed”, they said.

“The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial”.

They also added, “The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned. Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards”.

Christian Horner had addressed the media for the first time since the allegations were made public, earlier this month. He once again denied the claims made against him.

Horner has been team principal of Red Bull since 2005. In that time, he has also overseen seven driver’s world championships, and six constructor’s title wins.

Last year, they also won 21 out of 22 races, with Dutch driver Max Verstappen setting a new record with 10 consecutive wins.

Speaking of the Grand Prix, the Kings of Leon are to headline the opening concert at this year’s British Grand Prix. More on this here.
