Will Smith is to perform at the 2024 BET Awards.
The show which takes place on Sunday (June 30), will mark Smith’s first live performance since 2005, and will see him debut new music.
Will Smith who is renowned for hits, ‘Men In Black’, ‘Gettin Jiggy With It’ and ‘Wild Wild West’, has not released a new album since 2005.
In 2017, Smith released the single, ‘Get Lit’, as well sharing a 2020 Joyner Lucas cut ‘Will (Remix)’.
According to reports, the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air star will perform an unreleased original track at the BET Awards. No other information was announced regarding this performance at the time of writing.

Will Smith Marvels In Bad Boys: Ride or Die
News of Will Smith’s music career taking off comes just weeks after the latest Bad Boys movie, Ride Or Die, earned $56 million following its debut in the US, and $104.6 million at its global debut.
This made it the highest debut for an R rate film since Oppenheimer was released. It also marked Will Smith’s sixth best US opening.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die saw Will Smith and Martin Lawrence once again join forces as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, two Miami cops who set out on a dangerous mission to clear their late police captains name when he somehow gets linked to a large drug cartel.
