Coldplay have agreed to settle a lawsuit with their former manager Dave Holmes, according to reports.
This has been an ongoing legal battle between the two parties, which has dragged on for a number of years.
Dave Holmes served as Coldplay manager from 2005 until his departure in 2022. He had initially filed a lawsuit against the band over alleged “unpaid commission” for two yet-to-be released albums.
It had been claimed that Holmes was seeking £10 million in damages.
Mr Holmes had alleged that Coldplay had been in breach of a contract which entitled him to a share of their earnings.
However, representatives on Coldplay’s behalf have insisted that Mr Holmes was adequately compensated for his work as manager, and that these claims were untrue.
