Dave Navarro has apologised to supporting bands who helped Jane’s Addiction following their recently scrapped tour.

The band’s tour has been cancelled, having announced that they will be going on hiatus following a public on stage bust up between Navarro and Perry Farrell.

Last Friday, the band were performing in Boston, when a row between the bandmates ensued, which led to crew members and bandmates needing to restrain Perry Farrell and take him off the stage, which brought the show to an end.

All remaining tour dates were subsequently called off as a result.

Navarro Apologises

Taking to Instagram in a post which has since been deleted, Dave Navarro issued an apology to band’s Love and Rockets and Crawlers who had been opening support acts for Jane’s Addiction on this tour.

“I would like to personally apologize to Love and Rockets (and) Crawlers and their crews for such a terrible outcome of what started off as an incredibly magical tour”, Navarro said.

He continued: “Love & Rockets are heroes of mine and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to perform on the same stage as them for as long as I did. It has truly been an honor!”.

British rock band Crawlers were also forced to pull the plug on headline dates that they had planned for the US.

“It breaks our hearts that we won’t be seeing you guys for these upcoming shows. To our fans new and old who joined us on this run of shows – we love you so much, thank you for such an amazing ride, and bringing the noise for us every night, we will be back better than ever, we promise”, they said in a statement.

“incredibly difficult”

Following this onstage fracas, Perry Farrell also issued a public apology to Dave Navarro.

“This weekend has been incredibly difficult and after having the time and space to reflect, it is only that I apologise to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family and friends for my actions during Friday’s show”, he said.

“Unfortunately, my breaking point resulted in inexcusable behaviour, and I take full accountability for how I chose to handle the situation”.
