Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band follows Springsteen and the band ahead of their 2023/2024 world tour.

“loss, mortality and community”

According to a press release, Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will feature, “conversations follow Springsteen closely as he develops the story he wants to tell with this tour’s set list – interspersed with rare archival clips of the E Street Band, underscoring themes of life, loss, mortality and community”.

The film will arrive on screens on October 25, just days after Springsteen and co begin another leg of their tour.

These dates kick off on October 31 in Montreal, to go with several North American shows for that month.

Last month, Bruce Springsteen also dismissed rumours that he would be retiring anytime soon, ruling out and plans for any “farewell tour bulls***”.

This comes following rumours that this current tour could be Springsteen’s last.

“We’ve been around for 50 fuckin’ years, and we ain’t quitting! We ain’t doing no farewell tour bull****! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band!”, Springsteen told the crowd at Philadelphia’s Citizen’s Bank Park.

He added: “Farewell to what? A thousand people screaming your name? Get the hell out. I ain’t going anywhere!”. More on this from Nova here.

Earlier this Summer, Bruce Springsteen was forced to call off shows from his tour, after suffering with a virus causing vocal issues. Find out more here.
