Foo Fighters are to take an indefinite "hiatus" from the stage, following the recent scandal concerning their frontman Dave Grohl.
The band have made this decision after Grohl had previously announced that he had become a father again outside of his marriage.
Grohl announced this shock revelation earlier this month, revealing that he has fathered a baby girl outside of his marriage to wife Jordan Blum, with whom he shares daughters Violet, Haroer and Ophelia.
Despite this, the musician has said that he is "doing everything I can to regain the trust" of his family.
In the wake of Grohl's admission, it was also reported that Foo Fighters have taken a break, as they feel that a "hiatus is the best thing for them collectively".
This comes after the Seattle rockers cancelled their appearance at the Soundside Music Festival in Connecticut.
Sharing a statement on social media at the time, Dave Grohl had this to say.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her”, he said.
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together”.
