Fleetwood Mac’s recent online activity has left fans speculating as to what this may mean for the band’s future.

This comes after a new “official” account for the band was launched on Instagram. Currently set on private, the page is currently followed by just eight people, but two of them include members Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks.

Elsewhere, an official TikTok account was also set up for Fleetwood Mac, with not content shared on it at the time of writing. The page currently has 14,000 followers.

‘we are cooked’ – fans speculate over Fleetwood Mac

Following the launch of these mysterious social media accounts, Fleetwood Mac fans have been left speculating.

One fan wrote: “Fleetwood Mac making an official Instagram and TikTok we are cooked”.

“Fleetwood Mac making an Instagram. Somebody sedate me”, another added.

“It would be so amazing if this amounted to something like a reunion of the remaining four,” one person commented. “Has John [McVie] been coaxed out of retirement? Have Stevie and Lindsey [Buckingham] buried the hatchet? One final public tribute to Christine [McVie] and then curtains?”.

Another wrote: “Can someone explain what is happening right now?” Someone else said: “Y’all got my heart pounding!!!!”.

While some fans discussed a possible Fleetwood Mac reunion, other fans noticed that last week marked the 45th anniversary of their album ‘Tusk’, their 12th studio album, and a reissue could be in the works.

Speaking of this, former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham paid tribute to the album on social media.

Buckingham said that he reflected on drawing “a creative fork in the road” following “the enormous commercial success” of the previous album, ‘Rumours’.

Last weekend, Stevie Nicks returned to the Saturday Night Live stage for the first time in 41 years, where she performed classic track ‘Edge Of Seventeen’, as well as new single ‘The Lighthouse’.
