Joni Mitchell has had her say on the upcoming US Presidential elections and Republican candidate Donald Trump at her recent concert in LA.
The singer was performing at the Hollywood Bowl, at her recent Joni Jam show, her first show in LA since 1985.
Mitchell also performed a range of songs that she had not performed in decades, including ‘God Must Be A Boogie Man’, and ‘Sunny Sunday’. She also debuted several tracks, including ‘Harlem In Havana’, and ‘If I Had A Heart’.

During this performance, a fan directed an insult towards former president Donald Trump, which prompted Mitchell to reply with: “F*** Donald Trump”.
In a dig at Donald Trump’s policy on immigrants in America, Mitchell added: “Everybody get out and vote. This is an important one. I wish I could vote – I’m Canadian. I’m one of those lousy immigrants”. Check out footage of this here.
Last night, Joni Mitchell also performed a second of her Joni Jam shows at the venue. Both nights saw her perform with her band including Brandi Carlile, Annie Lennox, Marcus Mumford, Jacob Collier, Jon Batiste, Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold and more.
Speaking of Trump, Jack White threatened legal action against Donald Trump for using White Stripes’ track ‘Seven Nation Army’ in a promotional post.
“Don’t even think about using my music you fascists,” Jack wrote on social media. “Have a great day at work today Margo Martin”.
He added: “A double f**k you DonOLD for insulting our nation’s veterans at Arlington you scum. You should lose every military family’s vote immediately from that if anything makes sense anymore”.
White also he warned that a lawsuit would be coming Trump’s way, “to add to your five thousand others”.
