Mick Jagger’s Girlfriend Defends Age Gap

Last month, Melanie Hamrick, girlfriend of Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger, defended the couple’s noticeable age gap.

Former ballerina Hamrick, who is 44 years younger than Jagger, has been dating the singer since 2014, having met backstage at a Rolling Stones show in Japan.

“I don’t think about it. Everyone’s going to have their opinion,” Hamrick said in a recent interview. “If you think about others’ opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem, and you’re going to analyse it”.

She added: “Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No. OK, they can mind their own business”.

The couple welcomed a son Devereaux ‘Devi’ Octavian Basil Jagger in 2016. More on this from Nova here.
