Donald Trump has been declared as the winner of the US Presidential election, beating Democrat candidate Kamala Harris in the race for the White House, according to US media.
Earlier today, Trump said this to reporters: “This will truly be the golden age of America – that’s what we have to have”. This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again”.
It has earlier been reported that Mr Trump was within touching distance of becoming the 47th president of the United States. This is how the world of entertainment has reacted.
The World Reacts To Donald Trump Victory
In a statement, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer released this statement.
“Congratulations President-elect Trump on your historic election victory. I look forward to working with you in the years ahead”, he said. “As the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy and enterprise”.
He added: “From growth and security to innovation and tech, I know that the UK-US special relationship will continue to prosper on both sides of the Atlantic for years to come”.
Elsewhere, podcaster and known Trump endorser Joe Rogan also added: “WHOLE. LEE. S***”.
Comedian Russell Brand also added: “DONALD TRUMP WON”.
Elsewhere Actor, comedian and singer Bette Midler also shared a quote from H.L Mencken, the late US reporter, satirist and cultural critic when expressing her feelings on the matter.
“On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron”, she said.
Riverdale Lili Reinhart also stated: “I cannot fathom the feeling of the women who came forward about their sexual assault at the hands of Trump. Seeing millions of people vote for their abuser. My heart absolutely breaks for these women. I believe you, and I am so sorry”.
