Noel Gallagher has stated that Oasis’ upcoming reunion shows will not be “as raucous as back in the day”.

The band had announced a run of reunion shows earlier this year, which will take place in 2025, including two shows at Croke Park, Dublin next August.

Oasis will also perform in North America, South America, Australia, South Korea and Japan. More on this from Nova here.

“we’re too old” – Noel Gallagher insists Oasis shows will be chilled

Last week, the musician was attending the ‘Zoë Law: Legends’ exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London, where he was asked if he and his brother Liam will be as wild as they were during their heyday of the 1990s.

“No, it won’t be as raucous as back in the day, because we’re on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old”, he said.

He added: “We’re too old to give a shit now, so there won’t be any fallouts, there won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band”.

Noel’s comments come weeks after his brother Liam had also ruled out releasing a new Oasis album.

Having previously said that a new album was “in the bag”, Gallagher dismissed these rumours, saying that he was “only joking”.

“Let’s just calm the f*** down there is no Oasis album in the making,” he said.

“I was f****** joking remember them and the reason being because everyone is a little uptight these days I’m sorry if I have upset anyone but f*** me it was a laugh”.

In other news, a plaque dedicated to singer Liam Gallagher’s almost-gig at Manchester’s Lidl has been reported missing, with a £500 reward for its return.

The plaque was produced after the former Oasis singer, who had joked that he would perform at Lidl if his show at Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena was not “sorted” in time for his ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour this Summer.
