Four people have been arrested as part of the investigation into the death of Willie Moorehouse in Bray.

It's after a number of searches which took place earlier today.

36-year-old William Moorehouse died after a suspected stabbing near a playground in Ballywaltrim in Bray on Sunday evening.

Gardai yesterday arrested two men in their 40s and 20s for 'serious offences' in relation to the attack.

Today, officers conducted seven searches under warrant and arrested three men, in their 20s and 30s, as well as a teenage boy.

All six arrested are being detained at Garda Stations in the Wicklow/Wexford area. All can be held for up to 24 hours.

Gardai have also confirmed the National Bureau for Criminal Investigations is assisting with the probe.
