Morrissey has blasted online "trolls" for claiming that his upcoming show has been cancelled.

The former Smiths singer has taken aim at social media users for spreading this information, while insisted that this upcoming show is still going ahead as planned.

Taking to social media, Morrissey had this message for fans.

"Trolls whose heads are not attached to their bodies, keep fit by posting poisonous information," a statement read on the music icon's website. "Morrissey's projected concert in Krakow will 100% take place. Please accept this notification as either assurance or warning".

This comes just a few weeks after Morrissey had announced a run of shows across Ireland and the UK which will take place this Summer. Irish fans will be able to see the singer live on stage, when he steps out onto the stage at Dublin's 3Arena on May 31. This tour also includes shows in, Glasgow and Manchester. More on this from Nova here.

Morrissey will also perform shows in Spain, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden, Serbia, Poland, Greece and more.
