Billy Corgan has shared which Smashing Pumpkins track he would like to be played at his funeral.

The musician revealed this during a recent interview with The Guardian, where he spoke particular tracks which resonate with him personally, and have influenced him over the years.

When it came to the tunes, Corgan's list was largely eclectic, mentioning the Beatles' 'She Loves You', Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here', Metallica's 'Fade To Black', as well as Katy Perry's 'Roar'. In fact, Billy Corgan went as far as to say he was a fan of Katy Perry.

"posthumous, bitter point"

Elsewhere, Billy Corgan was asked if he had chosen what song he wanted to be played at his funeral.

“I’d probably pick one of my own just to make some sort of posthumous, bitter point: ‘You should have paid more attention to me when I was here", Corgan joked. “‘To Sheila’ from the ‘Adore’ album by Smashing Pumpkins would be a good one, if you’re sitting there, mourning my loss".

Corgan also revealed which Smashing Pumpkins track he recently chose for karaoke.

“The last song I did at karaoke was ‘Zero’ by The Smashing Pumpkins. I thought it would be funny to sing my own song, but the longer it went, the more I performed it like I was on stage in front of 50,000 people, and the less people thought it was funny", he said.

Back in February, Billy Corgan also spoke about the recent launch of his podcast, The Magnificent Others. More on this from Nova here.
