We reported earlier in the week about Motley Crue’s plans to split up and retire after their farewell tour. They even went to the length of signing a Cessation of Touring agreement making the split definite.

Now however,  the band have said that thew will continue to make music. As said earlier in the week the band said they would play 75 arena dates in the US from July-November and signed a ‘Cessation of Touring Agreement’ which stated that there would be no further live dates from the end of 2015.

To be fair, the cessation agreement states that the band cannot tour again under the Motley Crue name, it never said that the band cannot continue to make music.

Speaking to Phoenix, Arizona’s 93.3 KDKB radio station – via The Guardian – singer Vince Neil commented:
“Mötley Crüe will still be around, we’re just not gonna tour anymore. That’s really kind of it.” He added: “Mötley Crüe’s not breaking up. We’re still gonna be making music. We’re still selling merchandise.” However, he said the band would “probably” only play a gig post 2015 if they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

You just cant keep a good dog down!
