The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has been accused of being the filthiest celebrity in Hollywood.
Five maids who worked at the singer’s mansion, described the Neverland Ranch as more of a fairy-tale nightmare. One maid said that the late showman was “the dirtiest, most unsanitary person in Hollywood.”
The maids, speaking unanimously to the NY Post, said Michael lived in a house of filth and urinated on the floor. “Michael sometimes ran around where the animals were, and he’d track . . . poop throughout the house and think nothing of it,” one maid said.
The same maid stated she was too afraid to say anything to the singer because, “if you said something, he’d threaten to make doo-doo snowballs and throw it at you.”
Jackson lived at the iconic Neverland Ranch in California from 1988 until his death in 2009. The property was recently put up for sale by investment company, Colony Capital, for a reported €45 million. Read more about the sale on Nova’s website here.
Oprah Winfrey visited Jackson’s home for an interview in 1993. The mansion was immaculate for her arrival, floors were spotless, bathrooms were scrubbed and windows were smudge free. But after the television cameras left, Jacko returned to his zoo behaviour.
“He literally peed on the floor of the entryway, right where you saw Oprah walk in. It was surreal. He just stood there, unzipped his trousers and watered the floor,” another maid remarked.
Last week more sexual abuse allegations came out about Jackson. James Safechuck, 36, is alleging that, while working on a Pepsi commercial at age 10, Jackson abused him.
Another maid commented on how Jackson’s behaviour changed after the first sexual abuse allegations in 1993. “His whole life changed after 1993 when he had to pay that boy off. I’m telling you, he was the dirtiest, most unsanitary person in Hollywood.”
According to the maids, Jackson hated them going in to his room to clean. He especially detested his sheets being changed, “there were many times I had to sneak in and change his linen. I couldn’t understand how he’d sleep in such filth,” a maid said. “There’d be socks and underpants in the bed and half-eaten chicken and potato chips, empty bottles of wine and whiskey on the floor.” The worst detail was left till last, “you knew he wet himself — the place reeked.”
Jacko was also a hoarder, when asked what items he liked to hold on to, “I’d say there were two,” one maid replied, that worked at Neverland from 1994 to 1996. “A soiled baby’s diaper, and a pair of Fruit of the Loom that was obviously worn by someone who was either a teen or an early-age adult.”
