Former presidential candidate Al Gore has teamed up with musician Pharrell Williams to reveal a series of international gigs for 2015.
The project called 'Live Earth 2015' is being organised to highlight the topic of climate change.
It's an issue that is close the Gore's heart. In 2006, his film 'An Inconvenient Truth', raised awareness about the dangers of global warming and called on the public and governments take immediate action to curb their destructive habits.
The Guardian reports that the shows will take place across the world, stopping off on all seven continents, including getting a band to play in Antarctica.
Live Earth 2015 is being run in conjunction with the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris later on this year.
The project is expected to be broadcast across 193 television networks, with a potential global audience of two billion viewers.
The concerts will be taking place on June 18th 2015. It's not yet known who will be performing at the shows, Pharrell is being very cryptic stating: "Instead of just having people perform, we literally are going to have humanity harmonise all at once."
Live Earth 2015 is the second time the project has been run. The original Live Earth took place in 2007, the London part of the project featured acts such as Madonna, Metallica, Genesis, Beastie Boys, Snow Patrol, Foo Fighters and Kasabian.
