Jack White Shares New Song ‘Blue Light, Red Light (Someone’s There)’

Great news for fans of Jack White, he’s posted a new song on SounCloud titled ‘Blue Light, Red Light (Someone’s There)’.

The track is a B-side for the upcoming seven-inch vinyl release ‘The Black Bat Licorice’, which will be available on February 17th.

‘Blue Light, Red Light (Someone’s There)’ is originally a Harry Connick Jr tune, which White has covered.

The 7″ vinyl release is a continuation of a series of vinyl singles from the singer’s Third Man Records.

Musicians appearing on the song include drummer Daru Jones, bassists Dominic Davis and Chris Clawson, pianist Cory Younts, guitarist Olivia Jean and pedal steel guitarist Fats Kaplin.

Jack White was the biggest seller of vinyl in 2014. His album Lazaretto,was a massive success, shifting 75, 700 copies since its release in the summer. The Wall Street Journal reports that White’s record was the biggest selling vinyl album since Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy in 1994.

White also launched a revolutionary new smartphone app. The app offers users an ‘immersive 360 degree, stereoscopic 3D’ view of his concerts.
